I started working as a photographer at forty after working in an office for twenty years.
But I think photography had been part of my life long before, in the Ravenna countryside where I was born.
In its plowed fields, among the white dirt roads, in the golden light of summer, in the intense smells of autumn and in the long winter silences.
And I realize that in my travels, even in places unknown to me, what I seek is that precise feeling.
My camera is simply the tool that allows me to go back to those emotions and transform them into images.
